Please follow the steps below to clean the drum unit:
Return Program Cartridges are usually original cartridges by Lexmark which are sold at a discount versus the prices of regular original cartridges in exchange for the customer's agreement to use the cartridge only once and return it only to Lexmark for remanufacturing or recycling.
One of the important aspects to think of when choosing a printer or buying a replacement cartridge, is how much ink or toner that cartridge actually contains. The amount of ink or toner in a cartridge is usually called cartridge yield or page yield. In the printer and ink industry 5% of ink on the page is the standard measurement used to determine how many pages an ink or toner cartridge should print. For the purpose of the cartridge yield measure, almost all printer manufacturers base their black ink/toner cartridge yields on 5% coverage. 5% coverage implies basic type with no bold characters, no graphics and no pictures.
When you get the error message "Slide the Green tab on Drum Unit?" after replacing a new drum unit, please perform the following steps.
We do not offer refilling services, we simply sell our ink and toner cartridges.
We do however offer refill kits for ink cartridges, which you can find here:
A photoconductor kit or a photo developer unit is, although in some ways a bit different, it's ultimately the same for brands such as Lexmark as what's called a drum unit for other brands, the latter term is much more common.
A waste toner box collects waste powder, it's available in some laser printer models. Any powder that is left over from the print process is collected into the box. Once the waste toner box is full, the printer will stop working until you have it replaced.
Some colour laser-class printers use a rotating belt called a “transfer belt unit” to further colour registration accuracy. It is a rotating belt that is typically large which carries the mixture of different colours of toner particles. The cartridges will then precisely apply each toner layer to the belt which will then apply the combined layers uniformly onto the paper. You might need the belt unit to be replaced after some time of use. A belt unit is usually located under the toner and drum.
The drum unit is what holds the toner cartridge in some printer models such as Brother, it's about as long as a forearm. It transfers the toner to the paper. The laser printer puts the toner on the roller called the "photosensitive drum" inside the drum unit, and then prints letters and images by fixing toner to the paper by heat and pressure.
MICR or Magnetic Ink Character Recognition is a standard electronic process that reads sensitive documents like checks using high speed magnetic equipment and MICR toner. MICR toner is read by these sensitive machines especially when it is arranged in a specific syntax or pattern like the information found on a check. The bank routing number, account number, and check number are written using MICR printing process to ensure individual security as well as bank security.
Contains Liquid Ink
Contains Fine Powder
The toner cartridge contains powder (toner, instead of liquid ink used in ink cartridges) used for creating letters and images.
